Collaboration Overview

Hartwick College is looking for a corporate partner to engage with their "Organizational Behavior" course for its Business Administration Program. Split into two sections, the College is searching for a company willing to provide two projects for its students. Additionally, the Project Sponsor would like an internship arrangement after the engagement to assist with project implementation and assess results within the company.

Students will spend the first two weeks of the semester in a "Boot Camp," learning all of the needed facets of Organizational Behavior Theory. After, they will work with the Company to assess OB issues that relate to productivity, sales, recruiting, and turnover.

Organizational Behavior Overview

Organizational Behavior is based on 8 theories that students will learn prior to the engagement. This area of business administration focuses on human behavior within a business and how addressing these issues can help strengthen a company. The course explores the behavior of individuals and groups within the organizational context. Topics include decision-making, leadership, organizational culture, communication, group behavior, and change management.
